Farm

Farm to table may be the latest trend, but Gardner’s has been doing just that for over 30 years! In the summer, you can almost always find just picked lettuce and tomatoes with your lunch. Also, if you are lucky, in the spring you might just be able to time it right for one of the diner’s specialties: Fiddle Head Soup.

Gardner Farm grows all their own hay. Both silage (a fermented, high-moisture stored fodder) and a regular timothy/orchard grass mix that make the cattle truly grass fed. In the fall, you can often see the cattle grazing on the driving range. Don’t worry, they pick the golf balls up BEFORE the cattle get free reign.

In addition to raising cattle and haying while the sun shines, logging is a winter occupation using sustainable harvesting methods. The loggers can often be found having breakfast and lunch at the diner.

Gardner Farm is located right next door to the diner and you can always find something happening in the spring, summer, and fall. Roping, cattle sorting, and barrel racing is often held on the weekends in the Cinch ‘Em Up Stables arena. Check out the Facebook page for the latest updates!
